How Donation Pool works

Creating a campaign is free. A clear guide to donating, creating verified campaigns and sponsoring causes: Donation Pool charges 0% platform commission, donors pay exactly what they choose to give, and creators can enable an optional tip that funds the platform.

The flow is designed so donating, fundraising or sponsoring a cause is understandable from the first minute.

Choose a verified cause

Donation Pool organizes campaigns by category, urgency and progress. Each cause page shows the story, goal, progress, beneficiary and trust signals needed to decide calmly.

You can also sponsor a cause: beyond donating, a person, team or brand can help increase visibility so the campaign reaches more donors.

Donations are processed with Stripe. Before payment, the donation modal shows exactly what will be charged to the card: since Donation Pool charges 0% platform commission, always, there is no commission surcharge added on top. The donor pays exactly the amount they choose to give to the cause.

The platform's only source of revenue is a tip: each campaign's creator can enable it if they want, to help sustain Donation Pool. It's never mandatory — entirely voluntary. When it exists, it's deducted from what's raised and never added to what the donor pays. Stripe's processing cost is automatically absorbed by the beneficiary's account, without the platform calculating or passing it on. The donor sees exactly how much they're giving to the cause before paying. No hidden charges, no surprises afterward.

Create a campaign

The creator prepares a clear story, financial goal, category, location and visual material. The team may review information before publishing to reduce fraud, duplicates or unclear campaigns.

Campaign images should live in the Storage images folder, separated from Markdown content and JSON indexes.

Follow the progress

After donating, the system records the contribution and the campaign can update its progress. Public pages are designed so anyone can review context, updates and intended fund usage.

Report issues

If something does not fit, a campaign can be reported from the report page. Review is human and confidential.
